Have Water, Will Travel

Photo_11

Water is my favorite drink.  I can't live without water, not that anyone can, but I need water all the time.  I know some people who get by with drinking soda all day long.  When I do that, I feel toxic and yucky, so I always have a water bottle on hand.

The other day at the gym, this lady was talking about how when she first moved here from Colorado, she thought we were all so silly with our water bottles.  She was in shock to know that we actually spend money on water.  Lots of money.  Now that she has lived here for a while, she's tethered to a water bottle as well.  Welcome to the desert!

Every time I go to the gym, I stop at a convenience store for water, and at $1.50 a pop, it adds up.  My sister buys Fiji water which is $2.00 a bottle (no wonder she's broke all the time).    Sure, buying a case at Costco is a good idea, but who has the fridge space?  I certainly don't.

My solution?  Buy the prettiest water bottle  ever, and use it over and over again.  I always have my own bottle, but the last one was from Starbucks, and someone took it from the "cyber cafe" at work.  Which is fine with me now, because its replacement is so much better.

This bottle is from SIGG.   They have so many designs, it was hard to choose.  I'm now attached to this bottle, kinda like Linus is with his blankey.  The best part.  It's aluminum, so when filled with very cold water, it makes a great cold compress for my headache.

I don’t like drinking water...or rather I didn’t like it too much but I must say I am getting used to drinking it now. Here I just get it out of the tap. Crazy concept I know. heh. I will add that I boil it otherwise it smells and tastes funny...not like water out of the rain tanks.

oh and just how freaaking jealous am I about the size and shape of yer lips. I have the lips of a chook [chicken].

Now tell me that water will make my lips grow and then I will drink heaps of it.

You are so cute! I love that bottle. I'm a NON water drinker. I hate it on most occasions and never drink it. It's why I feel toxic all the time and I still can't bring myself to drink water.

However, I'm totally in love with that bottle, went to the website and since my chances of getting to a retailer in downtown Chicago are slim, I may have to send my sis to the store on Greenfield that apprently sells these bottles. I must have one!!!!!! Maybe I'll actually drink water? ha ha ha ! hell no, I'll fill it with Dr. Pepper!

I'm more of a gatorade person myself. Gatorade and coffee.

I scoffed at bottle water until my recent bout with TYPHOID!!!! (possibly, I'm just being dramatic). You know that whole stomache flu/lab samples thing? Possibly caused by the water in my city. I am now a Brita user and bottled water buyer. I have learned a lesson in the yuckiest way.

I'm beginning to think we might be twins separated at birth... Although I'm not from New Mexico....

Love Lily Allen....
Love water....
I am deeply jealous of your bottle - it's beautiful.

We use PUR filters we purchased at Costco and we get Arrowhead in those cool sports bottles.

But hell, it's cold enough here that I just have to leave them in the car and....

This web-site is the coolest! Now I dont have to feel so intimated by science! Youre a genius! I think Ill visit this site often.

I haven't been up to much lately. So it goes. What can I say? I've just been letting everything wash over me recently, not that it matters. I just don't have much to say these days.
