Innocence Lost

We've got some big new around here. Before you get too excited, the big news involves one of my dogs. It seems that our 3 pound Chihuahua has impregnated the neighbor's dog. They were just born yesterday afternoon, so it's hard to tell what they look like, but all evidence points to our dog as the guilty one.

It came as a complete surprise as our neighbor never told us that Lady Bug was pregnant. About 2 months ago, I'm not sure of the exact time frame, but Chuy was obsessed with getting over in their yard. He found a little hole and would low crawl under the fence. He did this several times and we joked about how Chuy was over there having his way with their dog. Little did we know that we were right.

We still aren't exactly sure if Chuy is the dad. There's a couple of possibilities, Lady Bug is a TRAMP. Not to mention that she out weighs him buy about 5 pounds and he's a lot shorter, so it's hard to imagine.

Chuy's probably the dad for several reasons. First of all, Travis told me today that he saw Chuy doing the "dance" with their dog. Second, the neighbor said that she had to bury one of the puppies and he was black and white, just like Chuy. Of course, it will be good to see what they puppies look like as they get older. I'm still not too sure. Travis asked if there's some kind of test. "Yeah, Travis, let's demand a DNA".

The boys are obsessed with the fact that Chuy might be a father, and we have had fun with the countless jokes about how Chuy has been irresponsible. We'll never look at our little boy the same way again. I suppose that we as owners were not very responsible to have let it happen. But hey, the dog got it on and had fun. He's always practicing on his brother, so how fun for him to get the real thing.

Never underestimate chihuahuas and their ability to erm.. get busy? We have two of 'em, as my uncle used to breed them - and wow. Frisky wee buggers. ;)

Can I PLEASE have one of the pups, tramp momma or not? Hee.

(And you know how you mentioned the mom dog being bigger than Chuy? Have you guys got that Red Bull ad over there, with the cartoon puppies? I'll have to find it for you if not. *snicker*)

How could Lady Bug resist? Look at those eyes, those ears! You should go on Jerry Springer and fight it out on, "Who's Your Baby Daddy?" and get a free DNA test! Hee!
